Nomination for Officers
Nominations for officers will be accepted by mail, email, or by phone call to the Adjutant (908-617-1776) from one week prior to Annual Mtg. Nomination by phone will be followed by a written or email nomination no later than 5 days prior to the AM. All nominations must also receive a second to the nomination, either by mail or email, no later than 5 days prior to the AM. It shall be the responsibility of the nominee to secure a second to the nomination.
All nominees must acknowledge their desire to serve if elected, to the Adjutant no later than 5 days prior to the AM.
Any incumbent officers (save the past President Board Member) will be considered without nomination and second unless they inform the Adjutant no later than 5 days prior to the Annual Meeting that they choose not to be considered for reelection.
The Adjutant will email (inform) the entire regiment a list of all nominees who have secured a second to their nomination 5 days prior to the Annual Meeting.
In the event that no no candidate meeting the above requirements, nominations for that office will be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting November (4?)
